ABOUT MOUNT OLIVE

The charming small town of Mount Olive is located about 14 miles south of Goldsboro in eastern North Carolina. The railroad track which runs through the center of town is flanked by businesses and beautiful historical homes. Nearby is Mt. Olive Pickle Company, home of famous Mt. Olive Pickles.

A short walk from the downtown area takes you to the picturesque campus of Mount Olive College, a four-year liberal arts school.

For the family that enjoys recreation, Southern Wayne Country Club provides an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, clubhouse, and pool.

When you have the urge to just "get away" or if at times you yearn for big city life, Mount Olive is only a 90-minute drive from the beautiful North Carolina beaches, and an hour from the larger cities of Raleigh, Wilmington, and Greenville.
